Life is modern, with a fast lifestyle, sometimes you don’t have time to take care of yourself. A relaxing weekend, slow down to enjoy life, so many people choose “Sunday Brunch” as a way to relax and regain energy for a hard working week.
WHAT IS SUNDAY BRUNCH?
The Sunday Brunch concept has been around since the 19th century, originating from wealthy families in England, on the weekends they allowed servants to rest after a hard week of work. Gradually, the habit of resting was not only in England but also spread to many countries around the world and especially exploded in America in the 1930s.
This movement has also been popularized worldwide in recent years, when modern life is increasingly busy and people do not have much time to rest and take care of themselves.
Sunday Brunch is a Sunday special lunch, “Brunch” is paired with “Breakfast” which means breakfast and “Lunch” is lunch. It was a lump sum of lunch and breakfast on a lazy weekend, when you were leisurely resting with a deep sleep until noon.
This is considered a relaxing method to take care of yourself after a long week of work, to help you feel relaxed, “live slowly“, restore energy and spirit. What’s more wonderful when you can temporarily forget the busy days of daily routine, keep yourself a comfortable spirit, enjoy the warm sunshine of the new day with a hearty meal in a new fresh pace.
Sometimes it is because of the worries or spinning of the job that you forget the task of taking care of yourself, making the meals more hasty, forgetting the aroma and the taste of each dish. That’s why Sunday Brunch can be likened to a special treatment for your own soul when it is really slowed to feel life.
